Roland V-Piano

Looking for a used Roland V-Piano?

Receiving the award for NAMM 2009 'Best in Show', the Roland V-Piano is an instrument to consider if you are in the market for a new digital piano. The V-Piano adds four new piano models to the feature set, with excellent pianos onboard, from grand-piano classics to interesting and usebable hybrids. Ready to gig or record with analog XLR and 1/4" outputs, as well as coaxial digital output, USB and MIDI.

Creating and customizing sounds
This instrument is made for playing, with an easy to navigate panel, making you play more music, and play less with screen menu's. One of the great things with this piano is the ability to create and edit sounds, however there are already lots of onboard instruments to choose from if you aren't into tweaking. If you do like to edit your own instruments, it's pretty straight forward and you can be creating new sounds within minutes.

Four new piano models
The four new piano models added by the V-Piano Evolution system upgrade include two vintage and two vanguard piano samples. The two Vintage Type piano models include:

  • Vertical (warm upright-piano model)

  •
  • V1 "Impactance" (Vintage 1 piano equipped with heavier hammers for more power and energy)

  •
  • Two Vanguard Type: Triple Large (featuring triple copper-wrapped strings for each key with a newlyextended piano body)

  •
  • Metallic SB (based on the previous "All Silver" model with a new virtual soundboard made of thin metal boards sandwiched between thin wooden boards for a unique metallic tonal character).
  • Note: Owners of existing V-Pianos can download the "V-Piano Evolution" update from Roland's Downloads page.
