Roland FP-4F Digital Piano

Looking for a used Roland FP-4F?

Also check out the Roland FP-7F. The Roland FP-4F is a travel-friendly digital piano that builds on Roland's FP-4 piano concept and injects it with exciting new components into Roland's "SuperNATURAL Piano" engine and a deluxe Ivory Feel-G keyboard with Escapement. With its built-in, 12W x 2 stereo speaker system, the FP-4F is portable, with no extra cables or amplification necessary and requires minimal floor space.

Virtual Backing Band
The FP-4F's Session Partner provides rhythm and accompaniment patterns created by professional musicians, letting you play along with an onboard dynamic backing band. You can have the FP-4F play chord changes and ad-libs, or add complete accompaniment to a sing-along piece during a live performance. A diverse range of built-in rhythm patternsand musical metronomes.

USB Expansion
With its support for USB flash memory, the FP-4F lets you store recorded performances and keyboard settings. You can download SMF and WAV files from your computer and play them via a USB memory key from the FP-4F, or connect a USB CD drive to blend audio CDs with your keyboard performance.

Remove vocals from recorded songs
You can try using the "Center Cancel" function that attempts to minimize pre-recorded vocals or lead instruments, or the Tempo Change feature to speed up or slow down a song without changing the pitch. Use both of these functions at your (ahem) discretion. While an interesting feature that works well with some songs, it's more of a 'fun factor' and you'd probably be wise not to buy the piano based on this feature alone.
