Black Cherry is a band from Ottawa Ontario. The band was formed in 2005. The band is currently working on their 3rd CD. The first CD was entitled, 'In the pits'. The second CD was entitled, 'What's the Deal'. The second CD made it to number # 1 on the Canadianmusic.com music charts for over 10 weeks. The Songs were featured on CHUO FM radio in Ottawa on July 22,2009. The band has played over 100 live shows in and around the Ottawa including opening for 'The Jeff Healey Band', and 'The Five Man Electrical Band'. The band also played in the Orleans Parade of Lights in 2006 & 2007 and won the best band award. The bands cds are on sale at all CD Warehouse locations in Ottawa and End Hits downtown Ottawa. The band has played many fairs and festivals as well including: the Gloucester Fair, The Russell Fair, Lachute Fair, Beachburg Fair, The Tulip Festival Ottawa and many others.
